The Imperfect Tense
Sabrina.S
How do you conjugate the imperfect tense?
We need the endings: (ais, ais, ait) for the singular, (ions, iez, aient) for the plural.
The imperfect tense is used to refer to the very distant past, for example: two years ago, last week, last year. I went to the pool last year. The day before yesterday, I was eating noodles.
The past tense forms are "is, are, was, were" for the singular and "are, are, was, were" for the plural
