Gender Equality

Gender equality is a fundamental principle of the school. The Education Code states that values of equality must be taught starting in elementary school.
Indeed, stereotypes are internalized from a very young age.
Girls and boys conform to the expectations associated with their gender. As a result, science subjects are still considered fields reserved for boys.
Girls are overrepresented in general education in high school, even though they tend to avoid
science tracks, and are underrepresented in vocational education.
Today, nothing should stop a girl or a boy from pursuing the career they want, dressing the way they want, or playing the sport they want
Can girls and boys do the same things?
They can't play soccer. Why? Well, they never play soccer! Really? What's that about?
What do you need to play soccer? Legs and arms for throw-ins and goalkeepers. They have those, don’t they?
So there’s nothing stopping them from playing soccer, but if you tell them they can’t play, they definitely won’t want to!
We shouldn’t discriminate against girls and boys because we’re all the same. This is how the world can come together. Girls can do activities typically done by boys, and boys can do activities typically done by girls, and nothing can stop us thanks to gender equality.
