Nutrition: how to eat well.

How to eat well every day and pay attention to what we eat.

Discovering the 7 food groups:
- Starchy foods.
- Fruit and vegetables
- Dairy products
- Meat, poultry, fish, eggs, pulses, vegetable alternatives.
- Fats.
- Sweet products
- Water.

1. Starchy foods

Pasta, lentils, chickpeas, kidney beans, rice, quinoa, bread and potatoes are the body's fuel.
They provide energy to get you through the day.
It's best to eat them with every meal.

2. fruits and vegetables

Fresh, frozen or canned, fruit and vegetables are an essential part of our daily diet. They ensure a balanced meal, providing vitamins, minerals, fiber and water.
Eat 5 fruits and vegetables a day.

3. Dairy products

As the main source of calcium, milk and dairy products are an essential part of any diet.
Calcium plays a key role in the formation and solidification of bones and teeth.
It is recommended to consume 3 to 4 dairy products a day.

4 Meat, poultry, fish, eggs, pulses, vegetable alternatives

They provide us with proteins that are essential for building muscle tissue.
We recommend eating them 1 to 2 times a day, varying the sources.
We also recommend eating fish at least 2 times a week.

5. fats

Fats, whether of plant or animal origin, are essential to the functioning of our bodies.
Take them in small quantities, and they are ideal on morning bread or for cooking vegetables.

6.sweet products

Sweet products bring pleasure and satisfaction, but should be limited in the diet, as they are very high in sugar and sometimes fat. Consumed in excess, they can be harmful to your health.
For gourmets who like to end their meals on a sweet note, think of seasonal fruit!

7. water

Water is certainly the most essential element in our bodies. Depending on age, it accounts for between 65 and 80% of our body weight.
It's advisable to drink at least 1.5 liters a day, and more in hot weather or during physical activity.
If you don't like water, think about teas, coffees, herbal teas and unsweetened scented waters.
